Terms and Conditions

GoConnect

Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") of use carefully before using GoConnect. By posting your special offer or using the special offers posted on GoConnect, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, then you may not use GoConnect. In these Terms, "we," "us," "our," refers to GoConnect., "GoConnect Partners" refers to businesses or individuals who are posting offers on GoConnect, and "GoConnect Members" refers to visitors on GoConnect who are making use of the offers posted there. 

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms, at any time, by posting changes to this page. The latest Terms apply even if you posted your Special Offer before the date of the latest Terms. GoConnect Partners and GoConnect Members' continued use of GoConnect (including in the case of GoConnect Partners who do not withdraw their Special Offer), following the posting of any changes means that they accept and agree to all such changes.

GoConnect Partners will submit their special offers using the online form found on the GoConnect website. We will edit those offers in line with our editorial standards, and if we have any questions about a GoConnect Partner's listing of their special offer, we will contact the GoConnect Partner using the email address that the GoConnect Partner submitted when posting their special offer. 

Other than as stated below, are not responsible for examining or evaluating GoConnect Partners. We reserve the right to choose not to post a submitted offer, under any of the following conditions:

• The GoConnect Partner is not a legally registered business based in Japan, or does not do business in Japan
• The special offer is for a product or service that is not legal within the laws and regulations of Japan
• The special offer violates any third party's copyrights or other intellectual or proprietary rights
• In our sole view, we do not believe that the service or product offered under the special offer, will be useful to GoConnect Members
• The GoConnect Partner does not disclose their identity or contact information

GoConnect is offered to small and medium size businesses, volunteers and volunteer organisations, NPOs, charities, entrepreneurs and individuals (collectively "Small Businesses") in Japan as a shared marketplace at no obligation or cost to the GoConnect Partners. Our sole goal for offering the shared marketplace of GoConnect, is to help as many Small Businesses as possible create opportunities to engage with other GoConnect Partners and GoConnect Members in order to survive during the current human and economic crisis. We do not receive any commission or other benefit in hosting the GoConnect platform.  

Each special offer posted on GoConnect will include a means for the GoConnect Member to contact the GoConnect Partner, be it through the GoConnect Partner's website, email address, or phone number. Once the GoConnect Member contacts the GoConnect Partner, we take no responsibility for any subsequent interactions between the two parties. However, we take non-compliance with GoConnect's Terms seriously. If a GoConnect Partner or GoConnect Member informs us about a GoConnect Partner not complying with the Terms of their special offer as it appears on GoConnect, we reserve the right to remove that GoConnect Partner's special offer from GoConnect. 

Disclaimer

GoConnect is made available to GoConnect Partners and GoConnect Members on an "as is" and "as available" basis. GoConnect makes no representations or warranties as to the operation of, and information/content on GoConnect, unless we say specifically in writing. You expressly agree that your use of GoConnect is at your sole risk and we will not be held responsible for any and all direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages suffered by GoConnect Members in making use of the special offers that they find and use on GoConnect. 

We recommend that GoConnect Members carefully review the privacy statements and conditions of use of GoConnect Partners. We also recommend that GoConnect Members stay in compliance with all government guidance, warnings and regulations, and use common sense at all times.
